Young Reseachers' Conference on

Non-Archimedean and Tropical Geometry

Regensburg, August 1 - August 5, 2022

The follow-up to the 2015 Students' Conference on Tropical and Non-Archimedean Geometry, the 2017 Students' Conference on Nonarchimedean and Tropical Geometry and to the 2019 Young Researchers' Conference on Nonarchimedean and Tropical Geometry will take place in august 2022 in Regensburg.

All talks and planned activities will take place from August 1st to August 5th. Participants should plan to arrive July 31th (Sunday). The conference ends at lunchtime on August 5th.

Registration is open until May 15th. We can offer (limited) funding, especially for PhD and Masters students. We encourage everyone to apply for giving a talk by submitting an abstract.
 


Speakers

All participants are encouraged to apply for giving a talk. The introductory lectures will be given by:

  • Felipe Rincón (Queen Mary University of London): Introduction to tropical geometry
  • Alheydis Geiger (University of Tübingen): Applications of tropical geometry
  • Vlerë Mehmeti (Université de Paris-Saclay): Introduction to non-archimedean geometry
  • Andreas Mihatsch (University of Bonn): Connection between non-archimedean and tropical geometry.
