FINAL - THESIS


BACHELOR'S DEGREE COURSE / BACHELOR'S THESIS

The requirements for passing this course consist of a Bachelor's thesis, which is written during the semester, and a presentation, held during the course.

Course contents
This course is reserved for Bachelor students who were assigned to the Chair of Leadership and Organization to write their Bachelor's thesis. The course includes an in-depth, discipline-specific introduction into scientific work and writing. It is mandatory to attend all course dates.

Further information
The Bachelor's thesis is an academic paper in the area of Leadership and Organization. Registration of the Bachelor's thesis takes place with the examinations office each December. The examinations office then assigns the students to the various chairs according to their preferences. It is not possible to register directly with the chair.
The topics for Bachelor's theses are provided by the chair. It may be required to create a concept according to the Concept Development Guidelines, which is
available here (in german), in consultation with your thesis advisor.

WRITING YOUR MASTER'S THESIS AT THE CHAIR

Sucessful completion will be rewarded with 30 ECTS points. The requirement consists of writing your master's thesis in the course of the semester.

Further information
The chair provides you with suggestions for possible master's thesis topics in the List of Thesis Topics, which is available here (german version!). The topics are variable in the sense that they may be assigned multiple times.
In addition, there is the option of proposing your own master's thesis topic that fits within the chair's range of topics. In either case, it may be required to create a concept according to the Concept Development Guidelines, which is available here (german version!), in consultation with your thesis advisor.
If you intend to write your master's thesis with us, please contact the chair or an advisor suitable for your topic well ahead of time. Accepting to be the advisor for your master's thesis is dependent on the workload of the advisor with respect to master's theses in progress.
