For this course, you will be awarded 6 ECTS points. The requirements for passing this course consist of a written exam (75%) and a supplementary assignment (25%).

QUALITATIVE SOCIAL RESEARCH - LECTURE AND PRACTICAL COURSE

Course contents
This course provides students with an alternative perspective of science and research by offering a broad and differentiated introduction to qualitative social research. The lecture, in which concrete knowledge is taught (e.g. about the basic principles of qualitative research, the research process and research tools), and the practical course, in which newly acquired knowledge is expanded and applied, are seamlessly integrated. In addition, a reader containing classics of qualitative social research as well as supporting texts is an integral part of this course.
