UR / Elias Wiedemann Offers for psychology students at the University of Regensburg and for psychotherapists in training (PiAs)
One of the aims of the university outpatient clinics for psychotherapy is to give advanced psychology students at the University of Regensburg practical insights into psychotheraputic work. In addition, we offer psychotherapists in training (PiAs) the opportunity to complete parts of their training in our university outpatient clinic.
Teaching programmes
We offer courses on clinical psychology and psychotherapy every semester, which you can find in the corresponding course catalogues.
Internship
Bachelor's and Master's students of psychology at the University of Regensburg have the opportunity to complete a compulsory internship at the psychotheraputic university outpatient clinics. We offer a 240-hour internship spread over a period of 6-10 months. Please send your application to Prof Dr Mühlberger (opens your email program) (andreas.muehlberger@psychologie.uni-regensburg.de).
Final theses
As a university outpatient clinic, we carry out various research projects in the field of psychotherapy research and research into mental illness, in the context of which theses can be awarded. If you are interested, please contact Dr Theresa Wechsler.
Outpatient work as part of the training to become a psychotheraputic counsellor
If you present or conclude a cooperation agreement with a training institute, we offer training participants the opportunity to complete the practical training consisting of 600 hours of treatment under supervision ("outpatient cases") in our university outpatient clinic as a "teaching practice" after your intermediate examination. The services are typically remunerated in accordance with the regulations of the training institute. If you are interested, please contact Prof Dr Andreas Mühlberger or Dr Theresa Wechsler.
