The practical seminar is dedicated to the application and communication of political science knowledge in political consulting and local political project planning. In cooperation with the Regensburg Chamber of Industry and Commerce (IHK Regensburg), students will spend one and a half project days in several workshops practising the concrete application of political science: political consulting, press and public relations work and stakeholder management in local politics. Students learn how to put theoretical content into practice, work together in a team, create short and concise presentations and write precise policy papers.
The project days on 28 (4-7pm) and 29 May 2026 (9am-3pm) at the IHK will be accompanied by two individual dates for preparation and follow-up at the university (22 May, 12 June; Friday 10am-12pm). The exact procedure will be discussed in the first session on 22 May.
