The chair of Production Management at the University of Regensburg hosted the GPOM Workshop for the first time, welcoming researchers from universities across Bavaria. The workshop provided a forum for the presentation and discussion of current research in Operations Management and Operations Research.
The scientific program covered a broad range of topics, including applications in Manufacturing and Healthcare, as well as methodological contributions on Robust Optimization. The presentations stimulated insightful discussions and fostered the exchange of ideas among researchers from different institutions.
A particular focus of the workshop was the promotion of early-career researchers. By providing opportunities to present ongoing research, receive constructive feedback, and engage with the academic community, the workshop contributes to the development of the next generation of scholars in Operations Management and Operations Research.
