Adelina Wagner, M. A.

About the person

Adelina Wagner, M.A., is a PhD Student at the Institute of Education and is involved in research and teaching. She studied Educational Science from 2018 to 2023 and has since been teaching in the bachelor’s program as well as in teacher-training programs.

Her research focuses on self-regulated learning, particularly the importance of cognitive learning strategies for learning and comprehension processes. She places special emphasis on the use of eye-tracking methods for process-oriented analysis of gaze behavior. The goal of her study is to gain a thorough understanding of students’ eye movements while they using learning strategies.
In addition, she coordinates the digital course offerings on the university’s Moodle platform at the institute and is responsible for organizing the assignment of students to courses. She also supports the IT and tutoring teams with organizational and technical matters.
