Career planning: Your path to your first job in Germany

Have you ever wondered:
How can I find not just any job, but the one that perfectly suits me?
How can I showcase my skills on social media and attract potential employers?
How can I start building connections now that will help me enter the professional world smartly after having finished my studies?

According to actual researches almost half of all free positions in Germany are filled through networking. This is where professional networks come into play, both virtual ones like LinkedIn and self-built networks with so called key contacts. In this workshop you will learn about an alternative way compared to “normal” written applications, that can make it much easier for you to find your first job in Germany and about cultural specifics that you should consider when networking with German employers.

Workshop aims to help you:
1. Overcoming fears about networking even if you're defining yourself as introverted;

2. Positioning yourself so you are noticed for your first job;

3. Accessing projects, jobs and opportunities that aren't advertised;

4. Understanding cultural specifics while networking in Germany.

Join this workshop on professional networking in Germany and learn how to position yourself strategically for your future career.

The event will take place online.
