On February 25, 2026, the Welcome Center invited international researchers and PhD students to a Potluck Dinner at the Haus der Begegnung. The evening was dedicated to cultural exchange and, of course, good food.
Following the potluck tradition, everyone brought a dish to share, savory or sweet. We were able to try delicious Ukrainian borscht, Uzbek plov, Icelandic plokkfisk, Indian pav bhaji, French crêpes, and American pulled pork, to name just a few.
The Potluck Dinner was not only an opportunity to taste international cuisine, but also a wonderful chance to strengthen our community and create new connections across cultures and disciplines.
We would like to thank everyone who contributed to this special evening and made it such a memorable event!
