Bachelor Thesis

Would you like to write an empirical Bachelor thesis? I supervise data-driven theses on a wide range of topics, including those carried out in cooperation with companies. Below you will find some suggested topics, but I am also open to your own ideas.

If you are interested in writing your thesis with me, please schedule an appointment during my office hours via the chair’s secretary. As preparation for the meeting, please review the list of suggested topics and consider which ones interest you. Basic data analysis skills are required; an empirical thesis is a great opportunity to further deepen these skills. I supervise theses using Python, Stata, and R.

Depending on the topic, a data access application may be necessary. Please plan accordingly with sufficient lead time.

In the summer semester 2025, no new theses will be accepted at the chair. Theses that have already been started will, of course, continue to be supervised. New thesis projects can begin starting in September 2025.
