In this course, students familiarise themselves with the basic concepts, methods and models of dynamic macroeconomics. First, they go through a mathematics camp where they are taught the mathematical skills they need to master dynamic analysis and optimisation. They then deal with typical topics of macroeconomics, such as economic growth, fiscal policy, consumer decisions or business cycles.
This course is compulsory for all MSc Economics students. During the course, students are regularly asked to submit solutions to homework assignments. There is both a mid-term exam and a final exam.
