The IP team wishes you a GOOD START TO THE SEMESTER

The Chair of International Politics at the University of Regensburg is the only one in Germany with the dedication "with special consideration of Atlantic relations". This is reflected in the IP team's research. The transatlantic relationship, the foreign and security policy of the Federal Republic of Germany and other important European countries (especially the UK), the EU and the USA are at the centre of our academic work. We are also interested in all institutions and subject areas that are of particular importance for transatlantic relations: the international organisations NATO and the UN, nuclear proliferation, international terrorism, energy security, economic and political power shifts in the international system, as well as the domestic dimension of foreign and security policy. The primary aim is to provide theoretically sound and politically relevant analyses of current problems in German/European-American relations.
