The historical journal index Periodicals Index Online enables bibliographic research in about 6,000 journals from the humanities and social sciences using a single interface. The period covered ranges from 1665-2005 and includes publications (including reviews) in more than 37 subject areas and in over 60 languages and dialects. Full-text journals included in the Periodicals Archive Online are linked directly from the bibliographic entry.
