The representative for equal opportunities for women in science and art at the Faculty of Chemistry and Pharmacy (hereinafter: faculty's equal opportunities representative) and her or his deputies are the points of contact for female researchers and students regarding information, advice and support on issues specific to women and career development, as well as on the topic of balancing family and career.
The Faculty’s equality policy (external link, opens in a new window) is guided by the University of Regensburg’s overarching equality objectives, as enshrined in the University’s Constitution and the Equality Policy for Research and Teaching for the years 2023-2027 (external link, opens in a new window), amongst other documents. This is based on both the Bavarian Higher Education Innovation Act (BayHIG) (external link, opens in a new window) and the University of Regensburg's mission statement (external link, opens in a new window), which clearly sets out the objectives of achieving genuine equality and the compatibility of family life, studies, research and career.
The faculty's equal opportunities representatives are happy to provide support and advice
- on questions regarding funding opportunities for early-career female researchers
- with questions regarding the compatibility of studies/academic careers and family life
- in cases of sexual discrimination, sexual harassment and sexual violence within our faculty
All enquiries will, of course, be treated confidentially. You also have the option of contacting the faculty's equality opportunities representatives anonymously using the form below.
