Research profile
Research at the Institute of Educational Science focuses on empirical research into the requirements, content and consequences of teaching and learning in different educational systems and for different occasions and target groups.
The Institute has first-class scientific publications on relevant pedagogical issues from science and practice. Our interdisciplinary focus - which includes (educational) psychology, pedagogy and sociology - and the use of the latest empirical research methods - such as multi-level and network analysis - enable us to develop evidence-based solutions for the development and counselling of individuals, teams, organisations and educational systems.
