Prof. Dr Alfred Lindl has been W2 Professor for Professionalisation Research in Education at the University of Hildesheim (external link, opens in a new window) since 2026. He also heads the BMBF junior research group FALKO-PV at the Chair of Educational Data Science at the University of Regensburg. His research focuses on subject-specific teacher competences, the predictive validation of professional knowledge tests and the conditions for successful teaching and their methods of analysis. He holds a doctorate in Latin language and literature and a habilitation in educational sciences from the University of Regensburg.
