General consultation hours
General psychotheraputic consultation hours
During the psychotheraputic consultation, it is clarified whether a mental illness is present and whether psychotherapy is indicated. Patients with statutory health insurance must attend a psychotheraputic consultation before psychotherapy can begin.
In our university outpatient clinic, we carry out a thorough diagnosis of your symptoms as part of the psychotheraputic consultation and advise you on adequate treatment options (e.g. outpatient psychotherapy, acute outpatient treatment, inpatient psychotherapy, etc.) as well as other offers of help (e.g. preventive measures, self-help groups, counselling centres, etc.). In doing so, we are guided by current scientific findings and recognised psychotheraputic procedures and methods. If necessary, we will also arrange for medical clarification or co-treatment with medication, prescribe occupational therapy, sociotherapy or home support from a specialist carer, or initiate inpatient treatment.
If outpatient psychotherapy is indicated for you, we will support you in finding a therapy place with an external psychotheraputic. If places are available, we can offer you outpatient training or research therapy in our outpatient clinic.
To make an appointment for a consultation, you can contactus by telephone or e-mail . A referral is not necessary.
