Prof. Dr. Raphael Wimmer

Chair

Raphael Wimmer is Interim Professor for Human-Computer Interaction and leads the “Physical-Digital Affordances” (external link, opens in a new window) research group. Prior to this, he was an Assistant Professor (LfbA) at the Chair of Media Informatics at the University of Regensburg. He studied Media Informatics at Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich (LMU) and earned his Ph.D. there in 2015 with a dissertation on “Grasp-Sensitive Surfaces” (external link, opens in a new window).

His research in the field of human-computer interaction focuses on efficient user interfaces, physical-digital work processes, and future interaction paradigms.
