Mr. Bartol Borozan received a BSc in Mathematics (2018) and an MSc in Mathematics and Computer Science (2021) from Josip Juraj Strossmayer University of Osijek (School of Applied Mathematics and Informatics). He is currently a PhD student there and collaborates with the Canzar lab. Borozan has co-authored papers in computational molecular biology and single-cell Analysis, for example "Optimal Marker Genes for c-Separated Cell Types" (accepted for RECOMB 2025) and focuses on algorithmic methods, optimization, and large-scale genomic data analysis.
