Academic Writing for Lawyers (C2)
Through a study of general topics (such as sources of law and legal methods), as well as an overview of the key areas of law within constitutional law, civil law and criminal law, participants will explore the specific features of legal terminology in general and of the various types of legal text.
In addition, the most important techniques for sitting exams, writing term papers or academic papers, and delivering presentations are covered and practised. Participants are given the opportunity to write a paper on a topic of their own choosing and to present it in the seminar.
A visit to a court hearing at Regensburg Regional Court, including preparatory and follow-up work, rounds off the programme.
