- Until 2003, studies in English and Primary Education at the University of Regensburg. During her studies, employment as a student assistant and tutor at the Chair of Primary Education. Semester abroad as a teaching assistant at St Aidan’s Secondary School, Sunderland, UK.
- 2003–2005: Teacher training (Referendariat) in the district of Haßberge, Lower Franconia. 2005–2009: Primary school teacher in Lower Franconia; since 2009 in the district of Regensburg.
- Since 2008: Second examiner for English at the Universities of Würzburg and later Regensburg. 2010–2013 and 2021/22: Mentor teacher for English during the school‑based practicum. Additionally active as a multiplier for English in the Bavarian LehrplanPlus for primary schools.
- Furthermore, 2012–2015: Head of the theory‑practice seminar accompanying the stage‑specific practicum in primary schools; 2017–2021: SINUS coordinator for mathematics in primary schools. Since 2019: Studienrätin at a primary school.
