Information for applicants from Russia (23.03.2022):

According to the decision of the Bavarian government regarding Russia’s war of aggression against Ukraine, the 10 special scholarships of the Bavarian Prime Minister for students from Russia have been temporarily suspended. For this reason, BAYHOST presently cannot accept new scholarship holders from Russia. Exceptions apply to:
1) The scholarship holders who have already been selected will keep their funding as it has been announced. They are entitled to apply for an extension of their scholarship according to the general rules of the one-year scholarship program.
2) Russian students who already study in Bavaria in a master’s program or PhD project and who have already submitted their application for the study year 2022/23 will take part in the selection procedure and may be considered for a scholarship.
