The BAYHOST coordination office for Ukraine supports refugee lecturers, researchers and university managers from Ukraine in finding mentors for an internship at a Bavarian institute of higher education.
In the framework of an internship the lecturers, researchers and university managers from Ukraine get to know the field of work they have been working in in Ukraine at a Bavarian university over a certain period of time. A mentor of a Bavarian university is there to support them.
An internship can include different modules:
The aim of the internship is to receive a professional training that will be most of all useful for the further professional career in Ukraine and that can be acknowledged in Ukraine. If necessary, it can also facilitate the access to the German job market and / or cooperation between Germany and Ukraine in higher education.
At the end of the internship the interns receive a certificate describing the experience they have gained.
Requirements:
Please contact us if you are interested in doing an internship at a Bavarian university or if you would like to support a colleague from Ukraine as a mentor.
