BAYHOST and the Leibniz-Institute for East and Southeast European Studies (IOS) organized a Ukrainian- Bavarian Conference on Double Degree Programs from 4-5 May in Regensburg.
The conference was directed to university teachers and managers from Ukraine and Bavaria who are interested in the topic and responsible for international study programs. In working groups related to different academic fields, they could present proposals for cooperation and establish new contacts. Individual counseling and talks with experts and colleagues were possible as well.

BAYHOST and the Center for Teaching and Learning in Higher Education (FBZHL) at the University of Bayreuth organized the "Ukrainian-Bavarian Conference on Digital Education" from June 23-24, 2022, on-site in Bayreuth and online as a stream.
The conference aimed to provide knowledge about modern IT concepts and tools in education and to enable an exchange of experiences about them. The University of Bayreuth is advancing the German-Ukrainian exchange on the digitalisation of teaching-learning processes with two projects. The DAAD-funded Learnopolis+ project is working with partners in Lviv, Ternopil and Vinnytsia (Donetsk) to develop Massive Open Online Courses for the continuing education of university teachers. The framework for this is UTTERLY (Erasmus+ KA2), which establishes uniform competence standards, curricula and certification processes in this area.
