The Regensburg Center for Ultrafast Nanoscopy (external link, opens in a new window) (RUN) has been awarded the Rainer-Markgraf Prize (external link, opens in a new window) 2026. The prize honors regional and international excellence in education, science, and research emerging from Upper Franconia and Upper Palatinate. The award, which is endowed with €20.000, will be presented at a formal ceremony at Villa Markgraf in early November.
