In his research, Stefan A. Schreder (né Hanus) focuses on simulation-based learning environments and the role of debriefing in practical training contexts. In close cooperation with the Bavaria Mountain Rescue Service, he scientifically supports and further develops simulation-based training formats. A particular focus here is on process-related analyses and the didactic implementation of digital technologies to support learning processes.
He is actively involved in the scientific community and is a member of the European Association for Research on Learning and Instruction (EARLI) as well as the Special Interest Groups: SIG 01 (Assessment and Evaluation) and SIG 14 (Learning and Professional Development).
Furthermore, Stefan A. Schreder takes on central tasks in university self-administration and is responsible BAföG consultant as well as facilitator of the IT infrastructure at the department.
