Project EXITE "Experiencing International Teacher Education"

The EXITE project received funding for 3.5 years as part of the ‘KOLEG’ project, which was funded by the BMBF, and was carried out in cooperation with the International Office and the Europaeum at the University of Regensburg.

This research project, which is being carried out in collaboration with the International Office and the Europaeum at the University of Regensburg, aims to improve teacher training students’ skills in dealing with cultural and academic diversity in the classroom. The study examines the impact of teaching placements abroad (outside Germany) on teacher training students across all subjects at the University of Regensburg. It looks at both the students’ activities and the influence of increased mobility among teacher training students on how they deal with cultural and academic diversity.
