Key areas of research

Research at the Chair focuses on public law in its transregional manifestations.
Transregional developments in legal norms – that is, phenomena spanning more than one region – are examined from an interdisciplinary and comparative perspective. Within this framework, particular attention is paid to the following areas of law:

• national, European and international environmental and climate protection law
• public commercial law
• constitutional law
