System Administrator

Should any technical issues arise, Mr Steinhofer is available as the system administrator.

System administration tasks:

  • Diagnosing hardware and software problems
  • Work requiring intervention on the network
  • Initiating the reinstallation of computer systems
  • Referral to the Campus IT department in the event of more serious problems
  • Advice on the procurement of new computer systems

Tasks that do not fall within the remit of system administration:

  • No assistance with problems relating to the use of programmes such as Microsoft Office (Word) and Citrix (FlexNow)
  • No support with creating and editing websites (CMS)
  • No complete reconfiguration of faulty computer systems
  • No running errands to the Campus IT centre
  • No setting up of computer systems
