Should any technical issues arise, Mr Steinhofer is available as the system administrator.
System administration tasks:
- Diagnosing hardware and software problems
- Work requiring intervention on the network
- Initiating the reinstallation of computer systems
- Referral to the Campus IT department in the event of more serious problems
- Advice on the procurement of new computer systems
Tasks that do not fall within the remit of system administration:
- No assistance with problems relating to the use of programmes such as Microsoft Office (Word) and Citrix (FlexNow)
- No support with creating and editing websites (CMS)
- No complete reconfiguration of faulty computer systems
- No running errands to the Campus IT centre
- No setting up of computer systems
