Friends of the Faculty of Catholic Theology at the University of Regensburg e.V.
The Friends of the Faculty of Catholic Theology was founded on 18 June 2018 to foster links between former students (alumni), the faculty and the wider society.
We support:
- Contact and exchange between alumni and the faculty’s teaching staff
- Research, teaching and knowledge transfer within the Faculty, and links with the professional world
- The exchange of experiences between former students and amongst members
- The organisation of events, lectures and publications
- Promoting the Faculty of Theology to the wider public
We invite you to help us with this and to join us – whether as motivated students, successful alumni, committed lecturers, or simply because you are interested in catholic theology.

We offer you:
- A regular newsletter with the latest news and exclusive short articles by lecturers from the Faculty
- Information and invitations to lectures and special events at the university, e.g. the Actus academicus
- Free attendance at lectures and selected seminars
The Friends’ Association is recognised as a charitable organisation by the Regensburg Tax Office, as per its decision dated 15 November 2018. The membership fee is therefore tax-deductible as a donation.
