Career
Franziska Weindel completed her bachelor's degree in Business Administration with a focus on Human Resource Management at Hof University of Applied Sciences. She obtained her Master's degree in Business Development in a dual study program at Steinbeis University Berlin in cooperation with Siemens AG. She subsequently pursued her PhD at the Catholic University of Eichstätt-Ingolstadt at the Chair of Human Resources, Management and Organisation and spent a research stay at the University of Bath (UK).
During her practical assignments, among others at the BMW Group, Wacker Neuson SE and Siemens AG, she gained extensive experience in human resource management and project management. During her doctoral studies, she also served as a lecturer i Human Resource Management and Change Management as well as a consultant at the Institute for Digital Management (IDM), where she advised international clients in cultural analyses and transformation processes. She holds certificates in trainer aptitude according to AEVO, Business Coaching & Counselling as well as the Professional Teaching Certificate for higher education didactics.
Franziska Weindel has been a research assistant at the Chair of Sustainable Innovation and Technology Management since April 2026.
