Prof. Dr. Nikolaus Mohr

Prof. Dr. Nikolaus Mohr has been a member of the Friedhelm Loh Group Executive Board and CEO of Rittal International and Rittal Software Systems since November 2024.

From April 2015 to October 2024, Prof. Dr. Mohr was a partner at McKinsey & Company in the Düsseldorf office. There, he primarily advised and supported clients in various industries in designing their digital strategies and shaping their digital transformation roadmap.

Prof. Dr. Nikolaus Mohr was previously Managing Partner and Managing Director at Accenture GmbH for 10 years and Managing Partner at Mücke, Sturm & Company (MS&C) in Germany for almost 2 years. At Accenture, he was responsible for the telecommunications & media client portfolio as well as management consulting for telecommunications, media and high-tech/defence in German-speaking countries (Germany/ Austria/ Switzerland). He was also the globally responsible Client Partner for an international telecommunications company and the European lead for the Valuation Practice (Client Value Lab).

As a strategy consultant, he has more than 20 years of experience in the development and implementation of projects in the strategy, organisation and IT/technology environment at top management level in various industries (including consumer electronics, automotive industry, banking industry, manufacturing industry, ...). As a well-known expert on digital transformation and trends in the telecommunications, media and high-tech industries, he is a sought-after interview partner for discussions on industry trends and digitalisation.

Dr. Mohr is the author of several management books, specialist articles and studies such as "Mobile Web Watch", "Interactive Broadband Media", "Managing Resistance Successfully" and "The Transformation Challenge".

As part of his academic career, Dr. Mohr was a guest lecturer for International Business Strategy at the University of Georgia (USA) and taught Strategic Transformation Management as an honorary professor at the University of Regensburg. He earned his doctorate in business administration.

Prof. Dr. Nikolaus Mohr was appointed honorary professor on 1 December 2011.
