Study Objective
Aligned with the broad academic program of the IREBS Institute for Real Estate, the Chair pursues a clear specialization. The objective is to provide graduates with a solid methodological education tailored to the requirements of real estate specialists working in the financial sector.
At the Bachelor level, students first learn to understand and apply all relevant financial and economic instruments and quantitative models. This training goes beyond a purely introductory level and is already developed with a specific focus on real estate in Real Estate Finance I. In the Master’s program, these competencies are not only deepened; the underlying methodologies and economic relationships are also examined in detail. This establishes the foundation for not merely applying common financial and econometric models, but for understanding them thoroughly, adapting them, and even developing new ones. The Master’s thesis offers the opportunity to integrate, specialize, and further deepen the knowledge acquired.
