CV
Nico studied Information Systems (Wirtschaftsinformatik) in his Bachelors from 2018 to 2021 at Friedrich-Alexander-Universität Erlangen-Nürnberg (FAU). He is studying M.Sc. International Information Systems at FAU since 2021. In October 2022, he began his PhD in White-Box AI under the supervision of Prof. Mathias Kraus and Prof. Patrick Zschech. Since November 2025, he is a research assistant at the Chair of Process-based Information Systems.
Throughout his studies, he has been working in the field of AI in Business Analytics, particularly in computer vision, deep learning, and interpretable machine learning using Generalized Additive Models.
