Prof. Dr. Judith Michael

Professor

Judith Michael conducts research and teaches on the engineering of complex, long-lived, software-intensive systems across various application domains, adopting an integrated, interdisciplinary approach. Her research specialises in the engineering of digital twins, model-based software development for information and assistance systems, and software language engineering. Her research is documented in over 80 peer-reviewed publications.

She was a member of the Supervisory Board of Lakeside Science & Technology Park GmbH, Austria (since 2016-2026) and a member of the Executive Committee of the German Informatics Society (GI, 2020-2025).
