Writing week:
Date: 9 March to 13 March 2026
Registration is possible until 1 March 2026.
All registrants will receive access to the GRIPS course for the writing week on 2 March 2026 as well as all further information on the programme.
The writing week takes place in presence.
Focal points:
- Support and motivation for writing term papers in the subject
- Teaching academic writing skills: from the writing process and writing reflection to thesis and goal management
- Internal subject information: Conventions of ÄdL, text-related exchange and dialogues, introduction to the medievalist discourse community
- Please note: We are not proofreaders, we only provide guidance on academic writing.
Offers:
- Individual consultations: individual consultations on module and final theses
- Writing week: support course for writing projects during the lecture-free period Combination of input, free writing phases and exchange with other students)
- Workshops: practice sessions organised together with lecturers in the course, for example on topic development or text type knowledge
- Materials: guidelines for term papers, didactic writing exercises, handouts on formalities
