Knowledge transfer

As the issue of multilingualism – not least in connection with migration – is increasingly coming to the forefront of public and political attention, the contribution of linguistic research to a nuanced discourse, even outside the scientific community, is extremely important.

FoMuR therefore regards it as one of its objectives to communicate research findings to audiences outside the university – particularly in educational institutions such as schools, in the media and other public spheres – through a variety of events (external link, opens in a new window) (see also the Forum on Languages of Origin (external link, opens in a new window)).
