Feminist Legal Aid
Feminist Legal Aid (FLA)
Feminist Legal Aid offers free legal advice provided by students to FLINTA* people in the Regensburg area. As we are currently still in the process of setting up, the Feminist Legal Aid advice centre at the University of Regensburg is not expected to open until spring 2027.
Training programme
A training programme for prospective counsellors is planned to start in the 2026/27 winter semester, open to students and staff from all disciplines. We particularly encourage students from the fields of criminology, psychology and social work to take part in the training.
The training will cover the following topics:
• Sexual offences law
• Domestic violence law
• Domestic violence
• Termination of pregnancy
• Victims’ rights (in particular, bringing a civil action)
• Digital violence
• Discrimination in the workplace
• Maternity protection
• Custody and access rights
• Maintenance law
• Right to self-determination
• Anti-discrimination law
• Awareness in counselling
Following the training, counsellors should be able to inform those seeking help, support them and, where necessary, refer them to appropriate services. It is particularly important to us to enable those affected to have direct, easily accessible contact and to provide a space for personal conversations.
On Thursday 2 July 2026 at 4 pm in H 17, an information session on the training programme will take place. Do come along and feel free to follow our Instagram account @feministlegalaid so you don’t miss any updates. We look forward to seeing you!
