New capacity for supervising Master’s theses

The department will soon have capacity to supervise a total of five Master’s theses. Supervision will commence on 1 October 2026.

If you are interested in writing a Master’s thesis under my supervision, please email me a synopsis of your proposed thesis as a PDF file.

In addition to the topic idea and the structure of the thesis, the synopsis should also include details of the methodology, provided you are planning an empirical study. You should also demonstrate that the necessary requirements for carrying out the research (sufficiently well-documented literature and guaranteed access to the field) are in place. Please be sure to also state your intended submission date!

The deadline for applications is 15 July 2026. I will endeavour to let you know by the end of July whether supervision is possible or not.

Important: Under certain requirements, I am also willing to act as co-supervisor for theses where the main content is supervised by an external supervisor. This should be indicated in the proposal where applicable!
