Internships

In addition to providing a sound academic education, our aim is to assist our students in a whole range of other areas. On this page, we have bundled our services and all related activities regarding career orientation and additional offers for all political science students.

We help our students to

• organise their studies in a career-oriented way,
• Acquire additional skills and qualifications,
• develop their own academic and professional profile,
• gain the necessary practical experience,
• Prepare and evaluate internships,
• Establish contacts with employers.

The programme and services consist of the following components:

1. Additional events such as excursions, expert lectures and business games
2. Internship exchange and related counselling

Please note that it takes about three weeks to review an internship report and, if necessary, to post the internship work. This is particularly important for internships that are completed very close to the Degree programme.

In addition to a comprehensive range of specialist courses, the political science programme at Regensburg is characterised by the organisation of numerous practice-oriented events. This gives students regular opportunities to gain an insight into fields of work within political science and to engage in field research.
