Fancy a semester or two abroad? Would you like to experience political science from a different perspective and gain important experience in the language, culture and politics of another country? The Institute of Political Science maintains numerous partnerships as part of the European exchange programme Erasmus+, including in Trieste, Rome, Barcelona, Zagreb, Ljubljana, Warsaw and Budapest. Numerous attractive exchange places are available every year!

This page lists the most important information about studying abroad and links to the central pages of the International Office.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION ON THE PROCESS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Basically, you are responsible for planning your study abroad programme yourself, the central contact is the International Office.

If you create your Timetable at the host university after you have received your place, first contact the module coordinators in Regensburg and get the approvals in the digital course planning form (see links below): Do they recognise the selected courses for their module?

The module coordinators are the respective professors of the sub-area and Mr Matthias Baderschneider for the free elective courses in. The managing professorship is responsible for the practical module.

If you have the confirmations of the module supervisors, please register with the

1) the Learning Agreement you have completed and

2) the digital course planning form to the Institute's Erasmus Officer, Prof Dr Alexander Straßner.

After completing your studies abroad, you should also

1) with your official Transcript of Records,

2) the Learning Agreement (and any changes),

3) and the form for the recognition of achievements with the Erasmus representative (preferably by e-mail).
