Start of studies in the summer semester 2026
The following courses are recommended in the first semester for the Bachelor's degree programmes in Physics, Bachelor's in Nanoscience and Teaching Degree Gymnasium (Mathematics/Physics):
- Experimental Physics: Electrodynamics
- Mathematics: Mathematical Methods
Note: The courses Analysis I and Linear Algebra I will not be offered again until the coming winter semester. The lecture Analysis I is compulsory in all the above-mentioned degree programmes. The lecture Linear Algebra I is compulsory in the teaching degree programme Gymnasium (Mathematics), students of the Bachelor's degree programmes Physics and Nanoscience can choose between Linear Algebra I and Mathematical Methods.
The following courses are recommended in the first semester for teaching degrees with physics as a subject:
- Experimental Physics: Electrodynamics (teaching degree with physics as a subject)
- Mathematics: Mathematical Methods
All of the above courses are divided into a lecture and exercises in small groups, which are offered at various individually selectable times. The tutorials usually only take place from the second week of lectures. For the Bachelor's degree programmes in Physics and Teaching Degree Gymnasium, it is also recommended to complete the beginners ' practical A1 and the beginners' practical A2 in parallel during the first semester. Optionally, a supplementary subject can be taken in the first semester of the Bachelor of Physics degree programme.
The following courses are recommended in the first two semesters for teaching degrees with science and technology as a teaching subject :
