Researchers, staff, students, and colleagues are warmly invited to join Meet the Visiting Researchers, an informal networking event bringing together international visiting scholars currently based across Regensburg’s area studies institutions and research platforms:
Date: 10 June 2026
Time: 12:15–13:30
Venue: Room 017, AlFi / IOS, Landshuter Str. 4, Regensburg
The event offers an opportunity to learn about the diverse research projects being conducted by visiting researchers, exchange ideas, and establish new academic connections in a relaxed setting. No formal presentations are planned, allowing plenty of time for conversation and discussion.
Current visiting researchers affiliated with the Leibniz ScienceCampus “Europe and America in the Modern World” (LSC), seeFField, Thinkspace Ukraine (TSU), the Graduate School for East and Southeast European Studies, the Regensburg European American Forum (REAF), UR’s Department for Interdisciplinary and Multiscalar Area Studies (DIMAS), and the Leibniz Institute for East and Southeast European Studies (IOS) will be taking part.
The organizers look forward to welcoming you for an engaging exchange with our visiting researchers and to fostering new connections across Regensburg’s vibrant research community.
