What can I do with this degree?

This degree programme is aimed at students who wish to specialise in the biology of organisms with a focus on nature conservation, experimental and field ecology and evolution. The degree programme is geared towards both research and applied science, so that you can qualify for a consecutive doctorate in these fields as well as for a job in government administration or non-governmental organisations working in the field of ecology/nature conservation.

Structure of the Program

The EEC programme essentially consists of three core subjects, which can be chosen from nine possible topics, three compulsory modules for soft skills, and the Master's thesis.

Internationalization

The Language of Instruction is English.

Modules and courses taken as part of a stay abroad at one of the partner universities of the University of Regensburg can be recognised in the Master EEC.
