The MBA Controlling is aimed at academically trained practitioners from industry, commerce and the service sector who want to expand their knowledge of controlling and corporate management and develop new skills in data science and sustainability reporting. As a university-based professional qualification, the programme prepares students for the challenges of management accounting.

Is this the right program for me?

The MBA Controlling is aimed at academically trained practitioners from industry, commerce and the service sector who wish to develop and expand their knowledge of controlling and corporate management.

Language of Instruction is German. On request, seminars and papers can also be prepared and presented in English. A good knowledge of English is required for the literature.

What makes this program special?

The MBA Controlling programme is characterised by a hybrid approach. This makes it possible to flexibly combine work and study and at the same time ensure personal interaction between students and professors.

The small groups of up to 12 students also allow for excellent supervision by the professors.

Structure of the Program

Program Structure

Programme structure:

  • The programme comprises 120 ECTS credits
  • Thanks to the hybrid approach, the programme can be completed flexibly in career-integrated programs
  • The programme consists of a teaching block (Thu-Sat) on site, all other blocks and the supervision of the seminar and Master's theses can be completed online if desired

Standard Period of Study:

  • Four semesters / 24 months
  • 1./2nd/3rd semester: Lectures and seminar
  • 4. 2nd semester: Master's thesis

Costs:

Tuition fees are paid per semester. They amount to a total of 15,000.00 euros (4x 3,750 euros or 8 instalments).

Eligibility Test / Aptitude Test

To be admitted to the MBA Controlling programme, you need a Bachelor's degree with 180 credit points or an equivalent (diploma) degree.
