The Bavarian teacher training programme is divided into an academic course of study at the university, which ends with the first state examination, and a two-year traineeship, which concludes with the second state examination. The university degree programme for a teaching degree at grammar schools consists of

In the subject-specific programme, you will deepen your knowledge of the language, culture and literature of the Italian cultural area.
There is also a special focus on language practice: you will develop your Italian language skills up to level C1.2 and thus create a solid foundation for your future work as a teacher.

In didactics, you will learn to combine subject-related and didactic professional knowledge, to critically reflect on central theories and concepts of foreign language didactics and to develop activating tasks for learners, which you will test and evaluate during your internship.
