Dr Annemarie Pilarski, currently assistant professor at the Chair of Ancient Church History and Patrology at the University of Regensburg, will be a substitute professor at our chair in the summer semester of 2022. She will give the lectures: "God and Church - Introduction to Early Theology and Church History (external link, opens in a new window)", "Monasticism as an Alternative Church Model (external link, opens in a new window)" and "Burying the Dead, Comforting the Mourners: Dealing with Death in Antiquity (external link, opens in a new window)", standing in for Prof Andreas Merkt, who is on a DFG research sabbatical.
