To mark the 65th birthday of the Salzburg religious educator and psychologist Anton A. Bucher, Silvia Arzt, Georg Ritzer and Burkard Porzelt have designed and published a commemorative publication, which was recently presented at a university ceremony (external link, opens in a new window).
Entitled "Menschen in ihrer Spiritualität ernst(er) nehmen" ("Taking people's spirituality seriously"), the volume brings together 22 contributions in which academics from various disciplines address topics that characterise Bucher's oeuvre. These range from child and youth theology, symbol didactics and basic questions of contemporary religious and ethics education to church (criticism) as well as happiness and spirituality research.
