On 13/14 March, the editorship was handed over from Prof. Dr Rita Burrichter (University of Paderborn) to the new team of Eva Stögbauer-Elsner (University of Regensburg), Johannes Heger (University of Würzburg) and Helena Stockinger (Catholic Private University of Linz).

Die Katechetischen Blätter celebrates its 150th anniversary in 2025. Since its inception, the journal has seen itself as a forum for academic discourse in religious education and as a source of inspiration for religious education. The new editorial team is also committed to this tradition and is very much looking forward to being responsible for and organising the next volumes together with the advisory board.
