The Faculty of Catholic Theology at the University of Regensburg mourns the loss of Prof. em. Dr Karl Hausberger, who passed away on 17 April 2024 at the age of 79. From 1982 until his retirement in 2009, he was Professor of Church History of the Danube Region and subsequently Full Professor at the Chair of Medieval and Modern Church History at the University of Regensburg. He was a particularly committed university teacher and scholar, and our faculty owes him a great deal. We remember him in prayer and will always honour his memory.

The requiem and funeral will take place on Wednesday, 24 April 2024, at 2.30 pm in Egglkofen.
